Good performances from Richard Gere and Terrence Howard, and also from the rest of the cast, added with fast-paced and intriguing story that constantly surprise, makes this a great movie!

Dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher is based on a book by Steven King, and includes actors such as Thomas Jane, Morgan Freeman, Jason Lee and Tom Sizemore.

When it comes to Steven King books becoming movies, I've only liked a few of them, such as The green mile, The shining and 1408. And this one is now a part of that list!

It's something as rare as a mix of sci-fi, horror, drama, and even big budget style action. With good actors and a great story. Almost to good to be true! I enjoyed it very much!

Beowulf

Beowulf is based on an old english poem. I read in some reviews that too much has been changed from the original story. Since I have't read it, that didn't bother me.

The movie is computer animated, and very well made. The action sequences in particuar impressed me. But the story and "acting"(the characters have been made to look exactly like the actor who has their voice, using a special tecnique) was also good.

All in all a different movie experience that entertained me much.

The texas chainsaw massacre 2

This movie from 1986 is the sequal to the original from 74'. It was directed by Tobe Hooper, he also directed the original. The leading man is played by Dennis Hopper.

This movie really sucked! if you liked the original or the new movies, stay away from this like if it was the plague! One of the worst movies I've ever watched! Words can't describe how bad this "movie" is.

The brave one, starring Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard is a revenge movie.

Jodie Foster plays the vigilante who decides to take the law in her own hands after something bad has happened to her.

Great acting, interesting story. Exciting from start to finish.

The invasion

The invasion, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, is a remake of Invasion of the bodysnatchers. I've seen the original as well, and it was much more frightening.

It started out good, but didn't last all the way.
Still, this was okay, some suspense, but also a bit boring at times. Super happy ending makes the rating go down..

Lions for lambs

Lions for lambs is directed by Robert Redford, and includes actors Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.

The movies tagline is: "If you don't stand for something, you might fall for anything". It kind of sums up what this movie is about. There are three stories taking place. A meeting between a journalist(Streep) and a presidential advisor(Cruise). A student having a guidance session with his professor(Redford). And the story of two soldiers in iraq. These storys are neatly tied together.

The movie is very good, more drama than thriller, but it never gets boring.

Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks is an awsome tv-series created by David Lynch. I watched when it was aired in the early ninethies, but didn't remember anything, exept for it being scary.

Watching it again now was great! Very good acting, special and thrilling story, and much mystery. This definitve gold box have it all, both complete seasons, and interesting extras as well.

Well worth a watch if you're a fan of Lynch, or just want to watch something completely diffirent. And it was still scary... But also much fun!
